What is PFI? Why are Raids being conducted across the Country

It has also been alleged that following its ban, SIMI members joined PFI, and the PFI has been accused of creating a communal climate in the region and inciting riots from the start.
Cases of Terror Funding?
According to police investigations, two PFI members Abdul Razak Peediyakkal and Asharaf Khadir are being tried on charges of Rs 22 crore that they collected illegally.
Authorities were in possession of explosives and a 32-bore pistol. Anshad Badharudeen, along with other PFI member Firoz Khan, was detained last year and investigated for anti-terrorism crimes by Uttar Pradesh police.
How Operation Mid Night’ was Procedure?
-At 1 am raids began-A total of 200 NIA personnel were involved in the raids, including four IGs, one ADG, and 16 SPs.-State police and CAPF were deployed in large numbers.--A total of six control rooms were set up for monitoring.
- A Command Control Center was established at the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).-The concerned team received dossiers for over 200 suspects.-Enrollment forms, and bank details were seized.
