How to Get Rid of a Fever
Lie down in a bath of lukewarm water. When you have a fever, this temperature will feel quite refreshing. Take a sponge bath. As the water evaporates, sponging high-heat regions like your armpits and groyne with cool water will assist lower your temperature.
Take a cup of tea.
Make a cup of hot ginger tea, which will also make you sweat. To create the tea, steep 1 cup just-boiled water with a half-teaspoon minced ginger root.
Before going to bed, cut two or three thick slices of onion and rub them on the child’s feet for a few minutes. If you do this twice a day, the fever will go away on its own.
