As the Indian para-badminton team and other competitors were about to board the bus to go to the stadium, they heard what might have been more than one explosion at Kampala. They were there to play in the Uganda Para badminton International. According to reports, the blasts occurred within 100 meters of the hotel where the Indian team was staying.
It tweeted, “Indian Team Safe!”
Pramod Bhagat and Manoj Sarkar, an Indian team, are currently in Uganda for the Uganda Para-Badminton International 2021.
